Intuit’s ProAdvisor is an online tax filing resource with a variety of tax return packages to suit your finances. You can pay for just one tax return for under $30 or buy bundles to use in a business scenario. The great benefit to this is that you don’t need to take out a long term contract or pay any licence fees, you simply use the online systems to help regulate and submit tax returns.

There are lots of forms and business returns to choose from, including all the major returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120 and 1120S) , each of which can be backed up using a cloud system meaning that you can access them from various devices with an internet connection. This also means that everything is backed up in real time so your data is secure and won’t be lost if you have a problem on your own database. All states are included in the service and Intuit ProAdvisor also helps you to switch your accounts over for free.

The features available to users of this site are more substantial than many of the cheaper or free services available. We think that the iPhone app is an accessory worth having because it means you are able to monitor and update information at any time, wherever you are. The range of documents available is also more extensive than most, with this site covering the main documents but also offering a much wider selection of more obscure documents to its clients.

In terms of price this isn’t the cheapest option if you’re looking to file a basic tax return. In fact some of the other sites we have reviewed offer a very similar service for free. You will gain more support from proAdvisor though, and a quick search reveals a very happy customer base who have been thrilled by their customer support. This level of support means that it might well be worth that extra cost if you’re new to tax filing systems and want a bit of help through the process.

This site offers a professional online tax filing system with a few extras that you won’t find on a number of sites offering a similar service. Their documents collection is also more extensive, making it useful for less common returns. The customer service has great reviews, though you will find that over all this site’s service costs a little more than you can find elsewhere. However, it’s a relatively easy system to understand and use, made all the more attractive by its extra features and, in particular, mobile app possibilities.
